“I’m screaming, are you happy? Are you happy?” Yes. Yes, I am happy that I heard “Deckhands” from Martyr for Madison. You should be too! “Digging out the knife just to stab me, just to stab me.” No, that’s not happening with us. We love this song! Spoiler alert: This is a positive review, and the track is freaking fantastic! The song has an early 2000s vibe that scratches that nostalgia itch while maintaining a fresh sound. This song could easily be heard at the main stage of the late but great Warped Tour, with fans eagerly jumping to the beat and singing along. Fans of The Used, Good Charlotte, My Chemical Romance, Jimmy Eat World, and Taking Back Sunday would eat this up. Fans of Emo and Pop-Punk need “Deckhands” on their playlist now!
