Influenced by the Past, Charging Fearlessly into the Future: TeethOut release new single “Here We Go”

Quickly growing a reputation for their nostalgic sound and heartpounding energy, TeethOut’s latest single is another skatepark banger. Released November 14, “Here We Go” marks the first release in anticipation of this Charlottetown, PEI five-piece’s upcoming album and a solid addition to the band’s repertoire of infectious skate punk style.

Formed in 2024, TeethOut wasted no time bringing nostalgic 90s punk back to the airwaves with their EP Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, and followed by Brittle But Elite. Praised for  the clear influences from countless beloved predecessors, TeethOut remain unique and crank out catchy skate-punk ballads at an alarming rate. It is clear that TeethOut have been raised and baptized in Epitaph and Fat Wreck summer sampler CDs.

“Here We Go” begins with transportive power chords that take the listener right back to the days of scrounging up enough money for a new deck (but settling for wheels). The gritty vocals and well timed harmonies are the finely applied polish to this chaos-rooted single that comes at you at breakneck speed. As the first single for their upcoming album via High End Denim Records (based in Red Deer, Alberta), “Here We Go” is clean in its production, but delivered with the earnestness of being played live.

Behind the years of musical influences, TeethOut perform and release songs that come from a genuine love. While giving a nod to the bands and music that shaped them, TeethOut share their passion for enjoying the present moment. They are a band that won’t let time fly by because they are skillfully keeping pace with it through every chord, chorus, and harmony.

“Here We Go” isn’t about clinging to the past, it’s about keeping that energy alive and in the present.

Bio:

TeethOut is a five-piece skate punk band from Charlottetown, PEI, trying to play like they are still 20 and mostly getting away with it. Fueled by 90s punk nostalgia, cheap coffee, and louder than necessary singalongs, their sound is fast, melodic, and just chaotic enough to feel alive.
