VALYEAR ANNOUNCE “AN INVITATION TO CHAOS”

Lead Single From Forthcoming LP

Toronto’s Valyear have put out their newest single, “AN INVITATION TO CHAOS”. The single marks the first chapter of an upcoming full-length album, which will be released on March 24, 2026. As chapter one of a multi-single rollout that extends into the spring, this announcement places an album, and consequently an idea, before an isolated moment.
VALYEAR began its incarnation as a completed entity with frontman Chad Valyear in 2014; the band has since assembled its current lineup following the release of their 2017 self titled EP and the album Revolution Fear, originally released on March 3rd, 2019 and re released on December 25th, 2025. Along with guitarist Geoff Wilson, bassist Joe Petralia, and drummer Mane Ribeiro, VALYEAR has honed a sound that values order over more chaotic tendencies. Recorded with Sean Gregory at SMG ProductionsAN INVITATION TO CHAOS is proof that a band can sharpen their tone while keeping their edge.

The title track moves with measured force, anchored by groove-heavy riffs and a rhythm section that emphasizes control over speed. Rather than chasing immediacy, the song emphasizes patience over flash, letting groove, control, and weight carry it. Its strength lies in how it waits before delivering.
In terms of its lyrics, this song revolves around internal struggle and that point at which self-control becomes self-action. Indeed, in terms of vocals, Chad Valyear’s delivery has that matter-of-fact quality that eschews showiness in pursuit of being there, and this song has that quality too, which trusts its framework and suggests that it has more to say than it needs to shout.

About Valyear:
Emerging from Toronto, Ontario, VALYEAR has rapidly ascended as a hard-charging force in the alternative/metal landscape, channelling the raw energy of Skid Row, the rebellious spirit of Mötley Crüe, and the intense grit of Drowning Pool into a sound that is unmistakably their own. Founded in 2014 by the dynamic frontman Chad Valyear, the band solidified its identity with the 2017 self-titled EP—a powerful statement recorded with studio collaborators that ultimately paved the way for a permanent, tightly-knit lineup featuring Geoff Wilson on guitars, Joe Petralia on bass, and Mane Ribeiro on drums. Together, they deliver not just music but an electrifying experience defined by moody intensity, razor-sharp precision, and an undeniable on-stage camaraderie that resonates deeply with fans. VALYEAR’s signature blend of groove-laden riffs and introspective, emotionally charged lyrics revives a long-missing swagger in modern rock—a bold, authentic presence that refuses to be ignored. With every performance, they reclaim the soul of hard-hitting rock ‘n’ roll, forging deep connections with audiences and leaving an indelible mark on every stage they command. More than just a band, VALYEAR represents a revival—proving that passion, power, and unity still have a dominant place in today’s musical world.
