The title was inspired by Joey Phipps, host of the popular series Library of the Untold in an episode about plasma and angel-like beings. The band reached out to Phipps with what they thought was the final version, only to be surprised by Phipps offer to contribute vocals on what is now “As One Global Ghost”. As the creative force and host of Library of the Untold, Phipps is the perfect collaborator with King of Cups as they ask the question: “What will they say when the time comes for us? / What will they see when they look at our deeds?”
