What’s Plunderphonics? In a nutshell, it’s audio piracy as a compositional technique. John Oswald created the term and in his essay Plunderphonics, or Audio Piracy as a Compositional Prerogative, he refers to using and manipulating one or more pre-existing audio sources to create a new composition.
