London, Ontario’s rising power-punk trio teams up with one of their biggest idols for a high-octane new anthem, mixed by Eric Ratz
Full Throttle is ready to make some noise.
The London, Ontario power-punk trio is coming out swinging with “Generation of Tomorrow,” their explosive new single co-written, produced and featuring Cone McCaslin, bassist and longtime member of Canadian punk-rock powerhouse Sum 41.
For Full Throttle, this isn’t simply another studio session. It’s a full-circle moment.
Influenced by the music that defined a generation of punk rock — including Sum 41, blink-182 and NOFX — Full Throttle grew up listening to the bands that made them want to pick up instruments in the first place. Now, they’re stepping into the studio with one of those very musicians to create the next chapter of their own story.
“Getting to work with Cone is honestly surreal,” says Full Throttle. “Sum 41 has been a massive influence on us, so having Cone co-write this song with us, produce it and sing on it is something we’d never think possible.”
“Generation of Tomorrow” captures everything Full Throttle stands for: fast guitars, huge melodies, relentless drums, infectious hooks and unapologetic punk-rock attitude. But beneath the volume is a song aimed squarely at the future — a rallying cry for a generation growing up in a world glued to their devices.
The track was mixed by acclaimed Canadian producer and engineer Eric Ratz, bringing together three distinct forces in Canadian rock to create Full Throttle’s biggest-sounding release yet.
The band consists of Max McGill (guitar/vocals), Evan Levite (bass), and Kaelin Caron (drums). Together, the trio has been carving out its own identity in the Ontario punk scene, combining the speed and attitude of old-school punk with the massive choruses and modern production of contemporary rock.
And now, with Cone McCaslin in their corner, Full Throttle is ready to take that sound further.
“Generation of Tomorrow” isn’t about looking back,” says the band. “It’s about taking everything that inspired us and turning it into something that’s ours.”
With a legendary influence behind the boards, a powerhouse mix from Eric Ratz, and a young band hungry to prove themselves, “Generation of Tomorrow” is Full Throttle announcing that their generation has arrived.
