They say when the gods descend from heaven, there will be the sound of thunder; we disagree, it sounds like Crisis Culture’s “Stand Strong.”
Featuring members from the popular group Turning Point from Sacramento, California, Crisis Culture rises from the ashes to bring you hot radio Rock hits. With a strong lineup consisting of Tony Verdi on vocals and guitar, Orlando Arguinzoni on bass, and Kevin Prince on drums, you’d wonder why they ever went on a 10-year break to begin with.

The Gods of radio rock hath returned, and the sound is an arena crusher for sure! Rejoice, for Crisis Culture hath returned to bestow their lyrical tome upon us mere mortals. The song starts with a hot guitar lick to set the tone, and the energy suddenly drops to Tony’s voice supported by piano and drums, only to build up again with the bass and guitar playing a riff. A wise man once said Crisis Culture’s “Stand Strong” is an experience, and that’s got to be the understatement of the new century. The song continues, and then the chorus smashes in, and we all raise our horns in praise of our rock gods, Crisis Culture. “Like the roots of a mighty tree, I am built to grow right through anything. When something gets in my way, no matter how hard it tries, it won’t change me,” are the lyrics of a genius. The words and melody immediately got stuck in my head, and it seems that this is how it’s going to be with Crisis Culture, as their previous single, “Lost,” had a similar effect. The bass and drums during the chorus hit hard, too, making you want to mosh. Tracks like “Lost” and “Stand Strong” can definitely be played in huge arenas, no questions asked. These songs have come from somewhere divine and can easily be part of the radio-Rock’s top hits. If you haven’t already become enlightened by putting Crisis Culture’s “Stand Strong” in your playlist, you should, it will ensure your place in Valhalla. “Stand Strong,” is truly an experience to behold.
