Promise Game did it again! They came out with a scorching hot track for the summer! This track is the perfect party anthem to get turned up to! “Alright, there’s celebration in the air” is the opening line from Promise Game’s “Any Reason To Party,” which perfectly sets the tone. Then Colin reminds us, “’Cuz it’s five o’clock somewhere,” because they’re about to get crunk, have a great time, and forget about all their troubles. Promise game tells me that the track is about someone being able to find any reason to party to deal with life’s hardships. Promise Game summed the song up to “Man life sucks, let’s party and forget about all that until tomorrow, rinse and repeat every day with more partying to cope.”
This track is more of an Alternative Rock fueled groove than their signature Pop-Punk tone, showing Promise Game’s extensive range in genres; in fact, they have a mastery over Alternative Rock as they do with Pop-Punk.
Colin’s vocals command you to have a good time, as the gang vocals suggest you should enjoy those good times with friends. Adam’s backup vocals put the cherry on top of the already hot melody. The guitar sears with a golden tone and expertly played power chords. The bass opens a six-pack for you and invites you to jump up and down along with the beat. The drums hit hard and make you headbang to a hype so high, you’ll need that alcohol to sleep that night. Their buddy, Joshua Herzer, from Lions Lions joins in on vocals during the bridge and seals the deal, that yes, due to Promise Game’s excellent songwriting skills, Colin’s, Adams, and Josh’s phenomenal vocals, this track is easily the Alternative Rock tune for the Summer. Promise Game is one-hundred percent on the way to becoming CTRLPlusSpace.com’s band of the year for 2021!
