OG Steever x Machine Gun Kelly collab?!🌟 & Review

OG Steever’s story is unusual; from being involved with a burglary to now being a positive influence on today’s youth, his story is indeed a success story all the same.

OG Steever is a singer-songwriter from Broward County, Florida. He started crafting music as a teen to “feel less alone.” Through his six-year music journey, he’s found a global community of listeners that relate to his emotion-driven sound. With a distinct style chiefly inspired by Hip-hop, Pop, and Punk Rock, it’s no wonder that Steever crossed over 1.2 million streams in 2020. He plans on going harder in the future.

OG Steever began releasing Hip/Rap music as an outlet for his emotions, and as he gained a following, he was placed in the Emo Rap category with the likes of the late Juice Wrld and XXXTENTACION. He has been gaining much traction with this most popular single, “Not Enough” surpassing 1 million streams on Spotify.

Since OG Steever has been conquering the Emo Rap scene, he felt it was time to venture into the Pop Punk scene with his new single “Deficiency,” and his fans are loving it so far. After speaking with OG Steever, he let us know he hopes to collab with Machine Gun Kelly, YungBlud, and Poor Stacy.

Many people would think hoping to collaborate with top dogs like Machine Gun Kelly would be crazy, but have you heard “Deficiency” from OG Steever yet? “Deficiency” might as well have been a Machine Gun Kelly track with OG Steever singing on it. OG Steever clearly has the writing chops and the voice to pull it off. “Deficiency” starts with a guitar riff and the room mics of a drum mix, then breaks into a driving guitar with hammering with downstrokes. It could easily be confused with an MGK song until you hear OG Steever’s signature vocal sound and lyrical style. Seriously, there isn’t a vaccine against OG Steever’s melodies, they will infect you, and you will love it! OG Steever sings, “Maybe you’re not the one for me,” but I tell you, this song is definitely for you if you are a fan of Machine Gun Kelly, YungBlud, and Poor Stacy. Add this song to your Pop-Punk playlist now! It has Machine Gun Kelly vibes all over it, and MGK would find it easy to work with a guy like OG Steever!
