Black it Out (also known as BIO) is a rock band based in California. The band formed in 2005 originally under the name Scarlet’s Sonata. The band has gone through several lineup changes and an eight-year hiatus. They returned with their album, Resurgence released on March 2019. They released “Merry Christmas, Don’t Get Me Anything” in November 2020. Their If Looks Could Kill EP was released July 15th, 2021. Black It Out consists of Shaun Zizi (vocals, bass, guitar) and Bryan Underwood (vocals, guitar).

It has taken Black It Out about a year to release the If Looks Could Kill EP, and it should be well worth the wait. Shaun, the vocalist, took vocal lessons from Michael Smith. These lessons helped Shaun shape his tone to suit the songs better. It took him many months to master the techniques so that he’d be good enough to record them, but it sounds like his hard work paid off. Remember to presave the If Looks Could Kill EP here!
