There seems to be a theme with Rad Stacey’s music. That theme seems to be killer riffs and positive messages in their lyrics. “Night Traffic” appears to be about a person in a neglectful/abusive relationship, but Rad Stacey reminds us that there is light at the end of the tunnel if we leave. The song is filled with incredible gang vocals, driving drums, and horn-inducing guitar licks. The vocal melody is so memorable, you could easily enjoy singing along with it after the first listen. Toward the end of the track, Rad Stacey reminds us to live and that we can do what we want if we don’t let others dictate our lives, “So just live how you want givin’ no love or fucks ‘cause you know you’re the goddamn queen” and “You don’t fall you rise up, draw blood first in the water yeah you got the world by the balls to just smile.”
Ian mentioned a fun fact about “Night Traffic” that the title is based on a short story he wrote in college. It refers to how busy our minds get at night with thoughts and anxiety when all we want to do is sleep. Ian also said, “This song hopefully gives everyone who listens a little peace of mind knowing they are strong and not alone.”
“Night Traffic” could easily be heard on the radio along with your rock favorites. Fans of Four Year Strong, A Day To Remember, Rise Against, and Falling in Reverse would enjoy having “Night Traffic” on their playlist!
