First off, What’s up with your name? Is there a story behind it?
I dyed my hair yellow and then felt like it just made sense to change my name. Theirs not much of a deep meaning lol.
Tell us about your musical past, would you tell us about your early years?
I grew up playing in punk rock bands, I’ve always loved music but I definitely was more on that side of music at first.
How would you describe your sound?
Hip Hop/ Punk/ Alternative rock mix
Which artists have the biggest influence on your sound?
Uzi meets nirvana meet the strokes meet drake
What’s the last song you listened to?
Sauce it up by Lil uzi vert
What’s your source for hearing new music?
I check out NME, and pitchfork every now and again but mainly thru IG ill find new artists.
Who is your dream producer?
It always changes but I would say Pierre Bourne, He’s just insane with it.
If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be?
Drake, or Kanye that would be so interesting to see their process.
What led you to music, and what motivates you to keep making it?
I just love music too much and creating it is the most fun thing ever, I just can’t stop it.
Tell us about the songwriting process. How does it all come together?
Ill usually start with music, maybe a guitar riff, or a synth part then ill do the drums bass and then find vocal melodies and flows lyrics are usually last.
How do you connect with your audience? What is the easiest way for them to connect with you?
