Everest Cale Delivers an Emotional Debut with And We Sing

Everest Cale has released its debut full-length album, And We Sing, available now on all major streaming platforms. Released on June 26, 2026, the eleven-track record blends Rock n’ Roll, Indie, Folk, and Country into a collection built on heartfelt songwriting and genuine musicianship.

The album immediately showcases the band’s strengths. Brett Treacy delivers raw, emotional vocals throughout the record, with “I’m Here” standing out as one of its most powerful moments. Jeremy Kolmin’s creative guitar solos add plenty of personality, while bassist Aaron Nystrup and drummer Aidan Shepard keep the rhythm section locked in from start to finish.

The title track serves as the emotional centerpiece of the album. Written in memory of friend and fellow musician Marian Carter, “And We Sing” reflects on loss while celebrating the healing power of music and community.

Lead single “Worn Out” highlights the band’s collaborative songwriting, combining Country influences with honest reflections on leaving South Carolina for New York City. The result is another deeply personal track that feels both intimate and relatable.

Speaking about the album, frontman Brett Treacy called it the band’s “Best work,” adding that it reflects both their strongest musicianship and the close friendships that shaped the recording process. Producer Parks Vallely shared that the goal was to capture Everest Cale’s dynamic performances while preserving the Folk-inspired heart at the center of their sound.

And We Sing is a strong debut that pairs emotional storytelling with memorable guitar work and authentic performances. For listeners looking for music with equal parts heart and energy, Everest Cale has delivered an album worth hearing.

Bio:
Everest Cale’s new album “”And We Sing”” is the Brooklyn band’s first full-length album and the culmination of a three-year collaboration with producer and engineer Parks Vallely. Across eleven songs, Everest Cale naturally weaves together country twang and rock n roll with the intimacy of indie and folk.

“I’m Here” (2025) was the first single, is a straight-ahead rock anthem about showing up for a friend, with soaring guitar solos and thunderous drums. The second single “Quiet Comes For You” is a haunting search for peace. It explores the permanent allure of the calm and the different ways we all try to find it.

Praised as “”ROCK-‘N’-ROLL, THROUGH AND THROUGH”” by Interview Magazine, Everest Cale’s music swells with guitar-drenched free-for-alls before collapsing, leaving just singer Brett Treacy and his guitar pulling the audience closer with his hushed voice, earnest lyrics, and just the right amount of ringing in your ear.

Formed in New York City by Treacy (vocals, guitar) after moving from South Carolina, the band features Jeremy Kolmin (guitar), Aaron Nystrup (bass), and Aidan Shepard (drums).

Their debut EP Beast (2012), recorded at NYC’s Cutting Room Studios, introduced their powerful, cinematic sound. Follow-up Constellation Choir (2013) earned wide acclaim, with the single ‘Before I Knew What Love Was’ amassing millions of streams. 2016’s Mary Lee, recorded at The End in Brooklyn, captured their raw live energy, while their 2018 cover of John Lennon’s “Mother” – showcased Treacy’s visceral vocals.
