Cole Hemstreet is an American singer, songwriter and producer from Colorado. Inspired by the PlayStation 2 Guitar Hero franchise, Cole began playing guitar at the age of nine and forming cover bands with classmates. After seeing of the possibilities of bedroom production through exposure to hip-hop and electronic music in college, Cole’s current sound began to take shape. Think the guitar oriented songwriting sensibilities of 2000’s garage rock (The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, King Krule) meets ‘Lo-fi’ production techniques and aesthetics.
