Fueled by Grit and Conviction, the New Release Channels Raw Power and Unapologetic Resolve
Little Bihlman, the Emmy-winning multi-instrumentalist behind Grinder Blues and The Bihlman Bros., steps back into the spotlight with his new single “Fade Away,” the very first single to be released by V13 Media Group‘s new label V13 Music. Gritty, determined, and charged with a renewed sense of purpose, the track, which premiered on Indie Music Discovery, offers the first look at what’s to come from the Michigan-born artist’s upcoming record. There’s a fire behind “Fade Away” that feels deeply personal and insists on being heard. From the opening riff to the final downbeat, it hits like a gut punch and keeps pushing forward, echoing the kind of defiance that only comes from years of chasing something real. It’s the sound of someone who’s taken their hits, stood back up, and decided to double down instead of back off. Cinematic in energy and lean in arrangement, the track pulses like a headlight cutting through midnight fog that is raw, vivid, and alive with motion.
For Little Bihlman, born Scot Bihlman, this is about reclaiming a pure, unabashed relationship with music. “Fade Away” carries the weight of long nights on the road, empty green rooms, cramped vans, missed calls, and fleeting highs, the real stuff that fuels a lifetime in music. And yet there’s a looseness to it. A freedom. You can hear it in the way the drums snap, the way his voice rides the edge of each phrase. It’s not about proving anything. It’s about telling the truth.Having built a career moving seamlessly between rock, blues, and soul, Bihlman brings all of it to the table here, but this time with an invigorating confidence that’s impossible to fake. He’s no stranger to big stages or high stakes, but “Fade Away” isn’t chasing spotlight or approval. It’s a statement from someone who knows exactly who he is and what he wants to say. With more solo material on the way, “Fade Away” is a reminder that some voices don’t diminish, they just get stronger with time.
