We’re so happy to hear that Anndy Negative won’t give up despite the hate he received from his previous single “When We Were Young.” Anndy used their anger to make that track a viral hit and gained even more fans! The joke is on the people throwing shade Anndy’s way! Anndy Negative, despite his name, used that Karen energy to create his latest track, “I Won’t Give Up.” Many of the negative Nancys of TikTok told Anndy Negative to give up on his dreams and that he was too old to do Pop-Punk and Emo. Anndy perfectly summed it up in the chorus and the opening line of “I Won’t Give Up,” “I won’t give up, momma always said, if you got nothing nice to say, then shut your mouth.”
We adore “I Won’t Give Up,” and we hope Anndy Negative keeps making music because this one got stuck in our head like no other. This track will have you flipping the bird to your enemies and telling them to “Shut your mouth you dick!” We love that Anndy also reminds the Karens of TikTok that he doesn’t want to be a cookie-cutter Emo artist who sings about a person who broke his heart ten years ago. He reminds the listener to get over it, which is phenomenal advice. It might not just be advice for them to get over their exes, but maybe they should get over him and his love for music because Anndy Negative can’t stop, and he won’t stop!
“I Won’t Give Up” has half-time parts that’ll have you throw up your horns and headbang, harmonies that’ll inspire you to start a barbershop quartet, and the ending channels A Day To Remember energy so hard, it’ll make Jeremy McKinnon blush. Fans of A Day To Remember, Blink-182, and Green Day would beg Anndy Negative to keep going because this track kicks some serious ass! Did we mention that Anndy Negative’s voice is fantastic throughout the song? Well, it is. The fans the Anndy Negative earned since 2003 would be thrilled to listen to this track. If you love sticking it to assholes, you need this track in your playlist pronto!
