EJ3000 danced their way onto our website by answering our questions about their music. We can’t stop dancing; you won’t be able to either!
1. First off, Tell us about your name? Is there a story behind it?
We’re an anonymous duo that that unfortunately must remain somewhat a mystery BUT there is something suspiciously similar to the CDJ3000’s by pioneer happening.
2. Tell us about your musical past, what did your early years in music look like?
Without giving any clues away we both come from making pop and dance music for many years as separate artists. We met at the club one night and hit it off which spilled over into recently making tracks together in the studio. It’s a new relationship and it’s been amazing already.
3. How would you describe your sound?
Sweaty, groovy with a pinch of twisted humour.
4. Which artists have the biggest influence on your sound?
I would say we influence each other the most but some of our fav recent groove demons include are Channel tres, Yaeji, rain radio.
5. What’s the last song you listened to?
It’s Raining Men by The Weather Girls
6. If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be?
..Vengaboys?
7. Tell us about the songwriting process. How does it all come together?
We sit together, close our eyes for a moment and imagine we’re surrounded by thousands of sweaty bodies dancing for their lives … we then open our eyes and ask one another “describe what you heard”. We then create exactly that.
8. How do you connect with your audience? What is the easiest way for them to connect with you?
We’re brand new so you can hear our first drop “I Can’t Stop Dancing” on all platforms. We also make pretty wack Tik Tok.

9. What’s next for you?
